Routledge International Handbook of Diaspora Diplomacy

Look at what arrived in the post today and great to get my hands on a hard copy of Routledge International Handbook of #Diaspora #Diplomacy. What started with an idea for a bit of a conference on #diasporaengagement in Dublin around 2018 gave seed to this book.

Little did we all know what was coming ahead but Liam Kennedy did a phenomenal job putting it together. A performance of skill, intellect, and a whole dose of patience I am sure (and that's just putting up with myself and Kingsley!).

As much as I enjoy reading digital versions of books, the old school researcher in me still finds it much easier to fill the margins with notes, links between arguments, and tips for my own thinking on a topic. Looking forward to a deep dive on this over the summer and to sharing it with others too... I'm a big fan of always sharing articles, books, and other resources. Spread the word on diaspora and all that!

Well done again to all involved in getting this together. Very timely for the sector as the complexities and impacts of diaspora diplomacy both through and beyond statehood shape the world around us.

Onwards.
